Celebrate!

Implementing and evaluating prevention efforts are challenging. They require a substantial amount of energy, cooperation, and resources from numerous individuals. Many people will have contributed their efforts for free, and many more will have worked hours for which they were not paid. Program administrators must find ways to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of staff, volunteers, community partners, and other stakeholders. Seek input from staff and volunteers about the kind of event that they would find meaningful and find ways to make that happen. Celebrate your efforts!
